Who is Chelsea Houska?

Chelsea is a young woman who was born in 1992 in South Dakota. She gained her popularity when she was pregnant at the age of 16. This teen always wanted to become a hair stylist, but she was obliged to drop out of school to give birth to her baby girl. In 2013, she graduated from a cosmetology school and started her career. This fierce young woman is known for being a part of two TV shows: 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 2.

Chelsea has two kids. Her daughter was from her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind, who ended up leaving her and starting a new family with someone else. Now she is with Cole DeBoer, and they have a son together. Her daughter was involved in a fierce custody battle between both parents that resulted in Chelsea gaining custody of her daughter. That seemed to be one of the best days of her life. This beauty is now married to her lover Cole.

One of the most annoying questions Chelsea keeps getting is whether she was pregnant again. This is one lousy question to hear for a woman who is not pregnant!  This has been a frustrating subject for this young lady who has been showing nothing but strength and courage to live a grown-up life at a very young age.

Before her reality show Teen Mom 2, Chelsea wanted to start a new lifestyle: a healthier one. So, she combined a good diet with an impressive workout regimen. She looked her best! This young woman started losing weight and shaping up.

Chelsea had a very busy schedule in 2015, but she wanted to succeed in her mission. Her diet was complimented with MaxPro dietary supplements. These included a protein powder and an arm recovery.

For her diet, Chelsea picked the best weight loss program she thought was out there. She always loved junk food; but not anymore! She was ready to start on her high protein, low carb diet. A few months later, she decided to try the whole 30 diet. This latter is one of the best heart-healthy diet menus.

Unlike the Chris Hemsworth weight loss regimen, Chelsea was taking it easy when dealing with her workout! She did not even use any waist trimming corset. She was not in need of it.

Now, after welcoming her second baby, this impressive woman is looking better than she did before getting pregnant the second time. She openly talks about how difficult it was for her to get to where she is now.

Chelsea Houska’s Diet and Food

While many celebrities deliver a baby looking like a model few days post-delivery, others have to work hard to get there. It was a big struggle for her to go back to her gym routine and start eating healthy, but she was determined to go for it. For a woman who once loved junk and fatty food, she went, once again, on a low carb diet while the rest of her family was eating their tacos and bread. Her diet consisted mostly of chicken and veggies. She was eating a lot of burgers, but without the bun!

When she delivered, she gave herself a four months grace period while she was enjoying being a stay home mom. After that period, she was ready to hit it with all her power. That’s when she started looking greater every time she was posting a new picture of herself on social media. Her only downfall is that every time she was beginning her diet, she was losing her milk and that affected her breastfeeding. She was struggling and kept tweeting about it! She was looking for the best weight loss programs for women who gave birth and are still breastfeeding!

She waved goodbye to her beers and junk food and now sticks to her high proteins, low carbs system. A low carb diet restricts you from eating anything that contains carbohydrates like pasta, bread, and sugary food. Your fruits are even limited to a certain level. This method has been proven to yield excellent weight loss results as the body shifts from burning carbs to use energy; but, shifts into burning your fat stores to keep functioning. So, you notice that you are losing your excess pounds. It is by far one of the best fat burning diets. When you follow a high protein and low carbs system, you may want to consider adding eggs, avocados, salmon, walnuts, spinach, white beans, apples, pistachios, chickpeas, oatmeal, butternut squash, lentils, and even tofu. These are highly nutritious foods that are low in fat and high in proteins.

She even decided to follow a paleo regimen while staying away from carbs, legumes, added sugar and dairy. So she somehow adjusted her eating habits according to what she believes in. A paleo diet is one of the healthiest trends nowadays. This system works with our genetics to help us stay fit and lean. This method relies on eating a diversity of protein sources. You can have fruits, veggies, lean meats, seafood, nuts and healthy fats while avoiding dairy grains, legumes, starches, and alcohol. Healthy fats are obtained from nuts, olive oil, and avocados. Chelsea did follow paleo and tried Whole 30. By looking at both systems, you might feel like they are the same regimen with similar restrictions. The truth is that they are very different, while paleo is a long-term eating habit that teaches you how to live your life the healthy way, the Whole 30 is a short-term detox and strict regimen.

Aside from her ongoing healthy paleo regimen, this sexy woman was trying some of the short period health crazes like the Whole 30! This latter only lets you eat healthy food over a period of 30 days. You are to avoid the following food:

  • Sugar
  • Alcohol
  • Grains
  • Legumes
  • Dairy
  • MSG
  • Sulfites
  • Baked goods with unhealthy ingredients

On the other hand, you need to stick to having meat, seafood, eggs and a lot of veggies and fruits. You are also advised to take in a lot of healthy fats like oils, nuts, and seeds.

Chelsea’s Workout

Chelsea already knew how to start her weight loss journey. She understood that with a proper diet, she also needs a good workout regimen. She divided her week into doing CrossFit training three times a week and Kickboxing two days a week. Both systems help burn a lot of calories and put you in perfect shape.

Just like for any workout, you need to train, get disciplined and keep going to succeed. A CrossFit exercise works the entire body system at different intensities. The method starts with a warm-up and then goes full speed. You follow a 28 days cycle, and then you start all over again.

Chelsea evidently proved to everyone that being a teen mom can work for you when you put your life together. You can still carry on with a career of your choice, be a perfect mom, enjoy the love of your partner and look as sexy as hell. She is 25 years old with two kids, a husband, a hot body and a career of her dream! What can a person ask for more?
